taking the old and turning it new.
Lehman was a project I took to heart and built from a beam that fell during a barn fire at my family's farm. I wanted to emphasize the beauty of what the barn was as well as the strength and resilience barns throughout rural America represent. After planing down the charred exterior of the beam I discovered the textures and colors underneath of what was left and designed this piece to remember and respect what it once was.
